I built a custom WordPress theme for this nonprofit, and developed membership functionality as a separate plugin. The Foundation required custom development as no existing community plugins satisfied their requirements.
To efficiently build the membership site, I leveraged GravityForms to build all registration and membership forms. PayPal Payments Pro was integrated for onsite transaction processing. I created automated email notification, for membership renewal, to optimize communications that were previously manually.
The Foundation receives over 100k monthly visitors, and receives increasing traffic each month. We are currently adding new features to increase conversions on the site.
Custom theme and functionality was built on top of Unicon theme.
Users can easily become premium members, and are encouraged to re-subscribe through automated communications.
